Our goal at KO Boxing Promotions is to promote, present and distribute the highest quality of both live and closed circuit professional boxing, , mixed martial arts and other sports entertainment programs to people around the world.
KO Boxing Promotions, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada have been offering world-class boxing programs since November of 1988. Among the most celebrated by team KO have been the George Foreman vs Ken Lakusta “Heavyweight Explosion”; "Feel the Thunder" with Tony “Kidfire” Pep verses Louie Espinoza; and “Lord of the Fly’s” with Scotty “Bulldog” Olson against Jorge Roman. More recently, KO Boxing Promotions has had a string of highly successful shows featuring the talent of Jelena Mrdjenovich, along with some of female boxing’s most exciting talent as well as highlighting some of Edmonton’s local rising boxing talent. Over the years, KO Boxing Promotions has continuously affirmed both boxing’s broad-based appeal and the quality of its championship matchups: distributors have beamed KO Boxing Promotions’ epic events in Canada, United States of America, Europe, Australia and Asia using every broadcast medium, from traditional over the air television to the latest technological advancements in digital satellite transmission, and webcasts to satisfy viewer demand.
We package and distribute broadcast license rights to commercial establishments to telecast closed circuit and pay per view professional boxing,and other sports entertainment programs to commercial establishments in Alberta, Manitoba, North West Territories, and Nunavut both independently and as the exclusive authorized representative in Western Canada for Canadastar Boxing Inc. As well we work with other Matchmakers, Fight Managers, and International Fighters throughout the world and in conjunction with other Promoters to stage top quality-sporting events around the world.
